Online Coding Classes for Kids

Everything runs in the browser. The coaching happens in real time.

Browser-basedLive, not recordedMax 6 students

Online coding classes for kids fail in one of two predictable ways: they're pre-recorded video that nobody finishes, or they're live but so large that no individual child gets looked at.

We built around both failures. Classes are live, capped at six students, and run entirely in the browser — there is nothing to install and no particular computer required.

How an online class actually runs

Each week has two parts: a 60-minute live class where the coach teaches and students build alongside them, and a 45-minute build lab where students work on their own project with the coach available.

The coach can see every student's screen. When someone gets stuck, they get help in that session — not in a forum reply two days later.

What you need at home

Less than most parents expect. Everything students write runs in the browser, so there is no development environment to install and no risk of a setup problem eating the first two weeks of class.

Online, but not impersonal

Six students is small enough that coaches know what each child is building and where they got stuck last week. Parents get written notes after each session — what their child worked on, what they understood, and what they're still finding hard.

That last part matters. A progress note that only contains good news isn't a progress note.

FAQ

Questions parents ask

Are classes live or pre-recorded?

Live, always. A coach is present for every session. Recordings exist so a student who misses a week can catch up, but the class itself is never a video.

What time zones do you teach in?

Class times are published with each cohort. If no listed time works for your family, 1-on-1 coaching is scheduled around your availability.

What if my child misses a class?

They get the session recording and can bring questions to the next build lab. If they miss more than one, their coach will schedule catch-up time.

Do we need to install anything?

No. Everything runs in the browser. A Chromebook works as well as a MacBook.

Try a class before you commit.

The trial is a real session with a real coach — not a sales call.
