No. Our beginner courses assume zero experience and start from an idea your child wants to build. Students who have done Scratch or a little Python move faster, but the starting line is the same.
AI writes first drafts. Students direct it, then read, test, and fix what it produces. Every week each student walks a coach through their own code and explains what it does and why. If they can't explain it, we're not done.
The right tool for the age. Younger students build with Lovable, an AI app builder; older teens in the Claude Code Bootcamp use a professional agentic workflow, a real editor, and git. We set up and hold every account, so students never touch API keys or billing.
Six students maximum, always live with a coach. Courses run in weekly sessions scheduled across time zones, and every session is recorded so a student who misses one can catch up.
Something they built and can open: a deployed app with a real URL, a machine-learning project, or a research paper, depending on the course. It becomes a portfolio piece they can put toward competitions, applications, or their next build.
