Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective July 22, 2026

We want families to feel confident enrolling. This policy explains when a course is eligible for a refund, how rescheduling works, and how to make a request. It applies to all paid Redwood Academy programs and should be read together with our Terms of Service.

1. Full refund (100%)

You are eligible for a full refund if:

2. Partial refund (50%)

If you cancel after the 7-day window but before the program reaches its halfway point, you are eligible for a 50% refund of the amount paid. We also consider prorated refunds for a documented medical reason that prevents a student from continuing.

3. When refunds are not available

4. Rescheduling and make-ups

Students may reschedule up to 2 sessions per term with at least 24 hours’ notice. Make-up sessions depend on instructor and schedule availability. The free initial consultation can be rebooked at no charge through the scheduling link in your confirmation.

5. Class credit as an alternative

Where a refund does not apply, we may offer class credit toward a future Redwood Academy course as a goodwill alternative. Credits are valid for 12 months from the date they are issued.

6. How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe, generally within 14 business days of approval. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional few business days for the funds to appear.

7. How to request a refund

Email hello@redwoodacademy.ai with the student’s name, the program enrolled in, the enrollment date, and the reason for your request. We aim to respond within 3 business days.

8. Questions and disputes

If you have a concern about a refund decision, reply to our email and ask us to review it. We will look at each request in good faith and get back to you.
