About this course
One student, one coach, one roadmap built around what that student is actually trying to do. Private coaching suits two situations especially well: a beginner who needs more attention than a group can give before they will risk being wrong out loud, and an advanced student whose project has outgrown any syllabus we could write in advance. Sessions are weekly and the agenda is the student's own work — a competition entry, a startup idea, a college portfolio piece, or a stubborn bug that has blocked them for a fortnight. The explain-back standard still applies. It is simply harder to hide from in a room of two.

Curriculum
Session 1 — Diagnostic
The coach reviews what the student has built and where they want to go, then writes the roadmap.
Ongoing — The roadmap
Weekly sessions against that plan, re-scoped whenever the project or the student's goals change.
Checkpoints
Every fourth session is a review: what shipped, what the student can now explain, what changes next.

How to join
- Book a free consultation. We learn about your child, answer your questions, and recommend a starting point — no commitment, no pressure.
- We recommend a course and an age band after the call, based on your child’s experience and goals rather than a form they filled in.
- Reserve a seat when enrollment opens. Classes are capped at six, so bands fill in the order consultations are booked.

Frequently asked questions
How do you match a coach?
On the student's age, project, and what they need most — a beginner who needs patience gets a different coach from a 17-year-old shipping a startup. The first session is a diagnostic, and we will rematch if the fit is wrong.
Can this run alongside a group course?
Yes, and it often does. Students in the bootcamp sometimes add private sessions for a competition entry or a project that sits outside the shared repository.
What if we need to reschedule?
Sessions are scheduled around the student, and rescheduling is expected. Our full policy is on the terms page.
Which AI tools will be used?
Whatever is legal for the student's age and right for their project. Under-18s work on tools that permit their age band; Claude Code and Cursor are used only with students who are 18 or over.
