Ages 10–13Live onlineMax 6 per class
Small-group classes where kids build real software and can explain every line of it.
Most coding classes for kids end with a certificate. Ours end with a URL: a working app your child built, deployed to the open internet, that they can walk you through line by line.
Classes are live and small: a maximum of six students with a working software engineer, never a pre-recorded video course. Kids learn to use AI coding tools the way professionals actually use them, then prove they understand what those tools produced.
Two things. First, the class size: six students means a coach can look at every child's screen every session, which is the difference between a class and a broadcast. Second, the explain-back rule.
Every week ends with the student walking their coach through what they built and why it works that way. If they can't explain a feature, they rebuild it until they can. That single rule is what separates learning to direct AI from prompting a chatbot until something works.
We're specific about this because most programs aren't. The major agentic coding tools (Claude Code and Cursor) require users to be 18 or older under their terms of service, with no parental-consent pathway. We don't put them in a child's hands and we don't pretend otherwise.
Students ages 10–12 work in Replit on a parent-owned account, alongside Gemini. Students 13 and up can add GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT/Codex with parental consent. The workflow is the professional one; the tooling is matched to what each student is actually permitted to use.
A deployed application with a real URL. A project write-up they wrote themselves. And a repeatable process for building the next one without us.

FAQ
Our core classes for kids (the AI App Course I and II) run ages 10–13, and 1-on-1 coaching is available at any age. Older students move on to the Claude Code Bootcamp (14–18). Every course states its age band, because a 10-year-old and a 16-year-old need genuinely different classes.
No. The AI App Course assumes zero prior programming. Students who've done Scratch or Python move faster through the early weeks, but the starting line is the same: an idea they want to build.
Maximum six students, always. This is the constraint that makes the explain-back rule possible: a coach cannot meaningfully review twenty students' code in an hour.
AI writes drafts; students direct, review, test, and fix. We verify understanding every single week, and students who cannot explain a feature rebuild it. Directing AI well takes more understanding of what you're building, not less.
A computer with a modern browser and a stable internet connection. Everything runs in the browser. There's nothing to install, and no specific operating system is required.
Our classes are fully live and online, so you are not limited to whatever happens to run in your town. Instead of the closest class, your child joins a small group of at most six led by a coach chosen for fit, from home on any modern browser. No commute and no drop-off.
Those are common first steps, and Scratch experience helps. Our classes go a step further: rather than scripting inside one game, students use an AI app builder to design, build, and publish a real web app of their own that anyone can open by link. The underlying skills — planning, logic, and debugging — carry across, but the result is a genuine product, not a single-game mod.
Yes. The core AI App Course is built for ages 10–13 and suits a beginner in that band who has an idea they want to build. For a younger child or a teen 14 and up, mention it at the free consultation and we will point you to the right age band or to 1-on-1 coaching.
